Storage space required?

My LG Tribute 5 phone says I need 88Mb to update or install apps. I show 380Mb in internal storage. Why is this?

It is going to depend on quite a few things. Try restarting (turning off and back on) the phone and then retry (if an update) and see if it works then.

If it does not, then what is the exact app(s) are you trying to install and what updates (app or system) are you trying to do?

It can be any app. This issue is I have more free space than is required to install or update any app for less.

It will depend on what you are trying to update/install. Many things take up more than they say they do. At least temporarily, making the amount it tells you not completely correct.

The numbers you have saying how much is available, where are you getting it from? In "Settings" and "Storage"? and if getting from there, then what is the exact line you are seeing that number you shared before coming from? Or is this from a different area?

I think that message may be saying you meed 88 more MB than what you have available. What is the exact message you get?
