Strange Audio(Headphones and Monitor) problem

So I am having a very weird audio problem with my PC that I can't really explain in just the title but I will try to explain as best as possible here.

I own a pair of EasySMX headphones. I noticed a problem when playing Rainbow 6 Siege. I joined a mumble server with my brother and all of his microphone audio was coming from my monitor, despite the headphones being plugged in and the sound output being through the headphones. We were able to fix this problem by going to the playback devices and disabling audio from the monitor.
However, a few minutes later, I noticed that I wasn't able to hear any microphone audio from other players in-game and when we tested it, no one could hear my voice in-game.

Additional Information:
I am using the back audio panel of my PC. When I tested a different set of headphones on the front panel, audio wasn't very clear and had some problems.

Looking for any help in the matter

This sounds like a mumble configuration issue.

See if you can find the an output audio setting in mumble.

I will try this but it is unlikely to be the problem as we also tried with discord and the same problem occurred
