Strange small white plug on laptop?

Recently got an older toshiba satelite laptop with a pentium in it from a friend. Decided to tear it apart to see what I can do with it and I found this small white plug next to the ram. Ive googled it multiple times with no results and the manual gave no hints to it. It may be a test plug? Any help would be great!
