Stream pc to laptop

Hi i just wanted to know if its possible to stream my pc on my laptop and be able to use mouse and keyboard, or whats the best way to make my pc portable around my room? I just dont want my roomates seeing what im doing on the internet (if you know what i mean) or watch movies perhaps. Thanks'

There's actually a way using remote desktop connection where in you can control your Desktop PC using your laptop as long as you have internet connection.

Here's how you configure remote desktop:
Windows 7
