Streaming/Casting computer to smart TV

Sup..
Because google seems to be pointless in what I'm looking for and all I get is offers to buy chromecast..
I'm desperate to ask the community..
now.. I got a desktop computer (Running on Windows 10 64bit)
and I would like to stream (idk if that's the name, I just want it to show the picture my desktop sends to the screen.. but wirelessly)
this way I want to be able to play video's running on flash.. and easier controlling.. (the remote is killing me with the 4 arrows)
now.. I dont want to buy a this chromecast or spend any money plus waiting a month for it..
and would like to just install some application or something like that to stream.. there must be if the phone can do that..
I heard something possible from the chrome browser.. it'll be enough for me.. but didn't quite get that

Phones can use the Home app but you still need a Chromecast to do it

Why dont you just connect the desktop to the TV.

Too much distance.. I got the PC in it's place for use and TV in another place for use..
I found out about miracast.. and that my TV supports that.. but still don't quite get how to use it from my windows 10 desktop
