Stuck between choosing a headset.

Hey guys, I'm seriously stuck between the

Logitech G230

the Sentey Symph (Includes surround sound 7.1)

If anyone has ever got to use both of these and can kindly compare which you prefer, it would be amazingly helpful! Thanks!

Go with the logitech. The Sentry Symph does not have real surround sound nor are you going to find it at this price point. The Sentry has a built in DAC (like a sound card), this means that it cannot use whatever you have built into your computer. It's a pretty useless feature for PC users as even most built in sound cards will sound better than the cheap DAC that's built into those headphones.

I would go with the Logitech (same reason as thor220), but if you can pay a couple more dollars you could get the Plantronics GameCom 380 which is better than the Logitech.

I would agree with the logitech as well. My brother, on the other hand had a similar choice between a logitech and a razer kraken and he went for the razer headset. It looks really nice too. When it comes right down to it though see if you can go into a store like Frys or other electronic stores where they may have them on display and just find out which one is the most comfortable for you.
