stuck in diagnostic mode

I really did it this time, I was looking around pressing button...I believe I hit OK when asked if I want to be in Diagnostic mode.
The big thing is getting back on the internet,. The little "connect bars" that are in the upper right corner next to volume is gone off the screen, if I could just recover that I could do something. What can I do, I've already tried "RESTORE" says "unable due to error"
