Student gaming laptop

I am planning on buying a laptop for college that can do a bit of light gaming. I came across the
HP ENVY 15-j151sa, which looks like a good deal for €650. The only problem is that it doesn't have an optical drive. Does anyone know of a similar laptop with a dedicated gpu that has a optical drive for a similar price

Nowadays, most laptop manufacturers no longer include optical drive in their gaming laptops as it's bulky and it adds weight. Plus, optical drive is not really useful at this modern era since we have better storage medium e.g. clouds, usb drive etc

HP Envy is defo a good choice as it's thin and lightweight. At that price range, I would recommend ASUS N550JK with gtx 850m + optical drive.

I myself got MSI GE62 with gtx965m for 900 quid.
