Hi

I'll need a new study laptop in 2 weeks.

Here is what I weight as important thing to consider.

A good screen - I do 3d modeling and animation on my workstation and would like to show it on my laptop.
streaming 1080P videos on youtube if possible.
Screen size 11 - 13.3" -
Lightweight
Ok battery time.
No fan noise

These options is what you pay for in a good and expensive ultrabook, so I have been thinking buying a chromebook and install Linux on it, since I also doen't want my money to go for windows on a small budget like this. but on a chromebook the resolution is not good. and some of them can't stream 1080P videos, so can we expect a new and better version of chromebooks being released on the market any time soon?

I really like the Asus ultrabook design, but they're a bit expensive for me, but I've been thinking buying one used.

450£ is my max budget, I would be more happy to use 350£...

I can wait 4 weeks if someone knows if something new is coming on the market soon.

A lot of people on here must be going through the same as me now, so I hope you'll share what you have considered to buy or what will be the best option for me to get.

Any help is appreciated! thanks
