Sub on bht no sound

tried to connect the boston ba735 to my viszio sound bar but no sound I used a rca cable, do you know what the problem is?

Does your sound bar have a subwoofer output already?

yes a rca input from the sound board

What sound board? In order for you to connect a sub to your sound bar, you need an RCA output on it. If it has it, you simply connect that to your sub's inputs. if not, it can possibly be done, but isn't as simple

The soundbar has a base rc output, but I think my trouble is in the contro out, it has a 11 pins on the circuit board. I thank the audio coming in to the rca jack goes to the control out connection on the speaker. Could it be since Iam only using the sub woofer speaker and nothing else that maybe I need a jumper wire across two pins on the control out connection to complete the audio circuit., But what pins?
