I have a vizio 5.1 sound bar with subwoofer and side speakers and i was wondering if i could open my subwoofer and connect it to my subwoofer that i took out of my car

Solution
Problem#1: if vizio wants an active sub, car sub must be active (Active=self powered, must get electricity from wall or car battery.) Since active car sub runs on 12v u will need a proper 12v power supply. U can run as many active subs as your heart desires.

Problem#2: if passive speaker OK, then car sub ohm rating must be equal or more than existing. Your vizio can only put out so such power. Hooking up multiple passive subs this way won't make your system louder.
