subwoofer not working

It works perfectly when i connect it with my phone but not with my laptop (hp pavilion g4)

i use windows 7 64 bit,and the speakers are logitech z623.

The speakaers work perfectly its just that there is almost zero bass

In your sound settings you can turn on and off bass cancellation on your laptop, most likely something to do with ur laptop.
