Subwoofer popping sound every second

My subwoofer keeps on giving me a popping sound every second.
All im hearing is pop pop pop pop.
After a hour or so, the lights on my speaker turn on, and everyting seems to be working fine.
i've already plugged my subwoofer into a diffrent outlet, unplugged all the wires. Nothing seems to be working.

The sound is starting to irritate me a lot.

If it does this with no input, then it is an internal problem (probably a capacitor) in the amplifier.

Does that mean, i need a new capacitor, or do i just need to try and adjust it first?

It means that there is an internal electronics problem in the amplifier, IMO. Obviously I am "diagnosing" this without any hands on. But I would say it is time for a replacement.
