Subwoofer setup help

i just hooked up my subs and amp, but for some reason my subs arent working. i am geting power to my amp, but when i turn my stereo on the subs dont work.

does anyone know why this is happening?

What subs do you have, and how are they hooked up? Low level or high level inputs? What amp?

Is everything else (main speakers) working?
