Hey, I am looking for a laptop for college use any suggestions.

I'd like to have 8th gen Intel or the new AMD Ryzen mobile chips
preferably have discrete graphics (low level) like the MX150 with Intel Chips.
I am looking at about $1000 to $1300

The amd ryzen apu's seem really good but the laptops aren't out atm and won't be for another month or so.
Intel 8th gen u chips are hard to find atm due to shortages can you wait a bit or do you need one now?
