I'm trying to help my nephew get a laptop to stream Xbox play on a budget of 300-450 if possible. No big need to have games run on this laptop as it will be more for streaming and internet type use. I've been sorting through black Friday deals but I could use some help if anyone has recently bought or seen something like this I would appreciate your feedback.

nothing to fancy.

I will preface by saying the last time I touched a gaming console was back when Halo 2 was released, and that was only to kill time at a friend's place while waiting for other friends to arrive and then go out for dinner and drinks.

Streaming a game from the Xbox One to be played on a PC should not require a powerful PC because the XBox One will be handling all of the "heavy workload". The following article from 2015 shows how to stream games to a Surface Pro 3.
