Surface pro i7 vs i5, is there much of a difference with battery life?

I'm debating the i5 or i7 surface pro 4. I couldn't find a conclusive answer. Is there a big impact on battery? Or is the i5 much better in that regard?

Nearly the same; they are both low-TDP, very power-efficient 2-core processors. The i7 merely has a slightly higher base clock and turbo boost speed. The i7 will probably have mere minutes less battery life.
