surround sound

Hi,

I have creative inspire T7700 7.1 speakers. They are hooked to a creative sound blaster audigy 2 sound card. I ckecked the hook ups for the speakers behing the sub woofer but when I go in the THX Setup Console to test the surround sound the sound doesn't come out like it's suppose to.

you have 7.1 selected form the speaker setup menu don't you?

also doesn't the audigy 2 only support 5.1?
