Solved! swap sorrounds

I have a 5.1 analogue system and I want to swap the front speakers with the rears ones and mute the front speakers when I play movies on the 2nd monitor, I was hoping to do this using a speaker configuration tool, See picture provided.



any suggestions on how to do this, Audio manager tool, audio codec in Pot Player?

You can't do it automatically when starting a movie but you should be able to use some controls on whatever you have the speakers connected to. If on a computer should be done through the audio options, everyone I have seen allows you to switch what the audio output jacks do.

I managed to solve it, I used SoundVolumeView to save two different views then just ran command line to switch between the two.

That's an interesting program.
Does it let you route the front output to the rear speakers as well as save the levels? The description doesn't make that clear.
If it does why not use the productivity fronts as rears when you use the TV for movies.
