Synced photos with google

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5. My photo automatically get synced to google photos and I can see them on my computer. I am getting a new phone but don't want to lose the pics on google photos and i will be using a new SD card. How do i make sure I dont lose the pictures in google photos?

Just sign back into your Google account on the new phone. Google Photos is synced online; everything is tied into your Google account. You can see the photos currently synced here: https/photos.google.com/
