I can't seem to get this to happen. I really don't know what steps to take
to get it done.
Can someone tell me how to do this. I want to sync my HP 4155 away from my
pc, wirelessly.
I have a linksys broadband wireless router. It will connect using wlan to
browse the web, but,
I can't get it to sync wirelessly. Can someone give me some steps as to how
to accomplish this??

thanks

If you can get on the internet but not sync via wifi make sure that your
computer has netbios enabled. What errors do you get when you try to sync
via wifi? You could also try setting the "internet" and "work" settings to
"work". Windows Mobile wants to use the work connection for syncing but for
web surfing and things it want's to use internet. You can trick it into
doing both by going to
Start>Settings>Connections(tab)>Connections(menu)>Advanced(tab)>Select
Networks and make sure both the top and bottom dropdown says "my work
network". Once you have selected this goto the top setting and click edit
then click the Proxy Settings tab. Make sure the option "This network
connects to the internet" is checked, hit ok, hit ok again then do a soft
reset to make sure the settings take then give activesync another try.

Forgive me for being ignorant of this networking stuff. I'm not sure what
NetBIOS is!!
All the other things you mentioned are set, but I'm not sure how to enable
the NetBIOS part.

You asked 'What errors do you get when you try to sync via wifi?'
After I set all the settings you mentioned, in the activesync screen it says
'Synchronize with Server, and it says the time, and an error, which is
'error code 'DEV_9'
when I click on the 'error'.

Also it tells me near the bottom of the activesync screen
"Synchronize with Windows PC, and tells me when was the last sync date and
time.

Hope I'm not confusing you, cause I'm kinda confused:(

thanks

Ok, I seem to have gotten the NetBIOS setup and working, however, I still
cannot get ActiveSync to work
over my Wifi.
When I hit 'Sync' on my Ipaq, it tries for about 5 seconds and it says 'not
connected', and it says when was the last
Sync with my pc.
I'm not quite sure where to go from here!!

thanks
Gary
