Tablet/ Desktop Combo

Hey All,

I am a college student who is thinking about replacing my laptop with a tablet desktop combo. I am limited on space in that I live with four people in a 2 bedroom trailer. I am looking to upgrade from my 3 year old laptop, to a desktop gaming computer (that I build), and a tablet with a bluetooth keyboard for note taking in class and class work. Is this a good idea or not, and if so what would be a good tablet. Thank you for any and all answers

Bit odd that you are on limited space yet want to replace a laptop with two devices, one of which would be about 5 times larger plus take up more desk space with a monitor/mouse/keyboard. A tablet should be able to handle notes and classwork, you may want to look at a Windows tablet in this case as it's more suited for schoolwork out of the box.
