Tablet Keyboard Spacebar

How can I make the keyboard spacebar work so the words do not runalltogether likethis. I have seen many posts about this for many types and sizes of computers/laptops/tablets but not solutions.

Can you please provide more details such as which tablet you are using and what is the issue that you are facing. Also, can you please confirm if the entire keyboard of the tablet is not functioning or only some keys are working and others aren't, what were you doing when the last time the keyboard was functioning, which operating does your tablet have, etc.?

The tablet is a 10" Proscan and works fine. The keyboard works on all keys except the space bar. I have to hit it hard and only in the middle, so I have to look at it constantly to make sure it does not run each word into thenext (like that). It has been that way since I got it and I don't want to return it.

It looks like there is some problem with the rubber pieces at both the ends of the spacebar. Normally spacebars have 3 rubber pieces that enable you to press it from anywhere and the key functions well. If the rubber pieces are faulty, you may need to replace them.

If your tablet is still under warranty, you can contact an authorized service center and let the certified professionals take care of this. If the warranty time has expired, you can do it yourself by pulling out the spacebar key, and replacing the rubbers.
