Tcl55s401trying to connect my vizio subwoofer and sound bar to it,the only way I found to do this is thru bluetoothing my smar

TCL 55s 401 Vizio soundbar with subwoofer hooking up to my TCL I get nothing unless I Bluetooth my smartphone Bluetooth into my soundbar and pressed the headphones button on my smartphone which I use to remote my TV why does it look like lip syncing..

Your TV has optical audio and headphone outputs. Connect a toslink optical cable from the TV to the soundbar.
You may have to turn on the optical audio output, turn the TV speakes off, and change the audio output type in the TV audio menu to get it working.
