Technics SA-GX100 tuner card removal

Hi!


I have an old Technics SA-GX100 FM/AM receiver/amplifier, and it seems like to have a removable tuner module



My question is, can I use the amplifier itself without the tuner card?

Maybe but why remove it?
If it's not there and the unit powers up then it should be OK. Can't hurt anything to try it.

I dunno, maybe it would improve the audio quality a bit


I know it sounds crazy, but I like to reduce my electronics to the bare minimum needed for doing its purpose (I don't need the tuner part anymore, so why not take it out? 😀 )
