tecra m5 operating system missing?

ive just baught a toshiba tecra m5 but there is no operating system on it how do i download windows xp pro onto it as theres a product key sticker on it

What have you downloaded? Assuming it's an ISO file.... you just need to burn a CD/DVD with the image, so you can boot from it.

Near the end, it covers off disks.


Then, once complete - put it in the M5's disk drive and it should run.
Then, direct the install location to the harddrive (assuming there's on in there??) and let it do it's thing.

Be careful where you've downloaded it from.

There are places hosting it, and it's safe AFAIK - but others..... not so much.

You'll need the ISO of the disk (disk image) and a method to create a bootable USB (unlikely to be supported due to the age).
Should be able to burn the ISO to a disk, then boot from it.
