parents do play a huge role on those kids' behavior. Im fully against abusing or beating kids up but when they dont fucking behave or are too disrespectful take their damn consoles and dont let them go out at least instead of spoiling them. Something to show the payback is a bitch more or less. So yeah, I do blame the parents for one.

Now as in what they should do to those kids? I hope they do the worst they can to them and also their parents cry their eyes out till they realise how much they failed raising their kids.

Pathetic.

Funny and awesome.

I would do something if someone didn't pay me back $40. Not saying burn the person, but maybe punch em in the face after a month of owing me.

Very sociopathic behavior. I wouldn't doubt them being arrested for something similar in the future. There's nothing 'funny' about the suffering that boy went through. There's a big difference between a school yard fight, and someone burning 80 percent of your body.

No not funny, these kids are incredibly stupid and deserve to go to jail. They had no future anyway, you can almost be certain they would've been welfare recipients. Smart people think ahead and understand consequences, how they didn't consider what would happen to them after setting this guy on fire in broad daylight in the middle of an apartment complex is proof enough that some people are just too dumb to function in society. I mean if they can't even understand common sense, what hope does a teacher have of teaching them anything?

Smart kids would have beaten the guy up. Not severely or bad enough he has to go to the hospital, but a good beating that will leave the guy bruised all over without permanent damage. That's what the guy deserves and now if the guy is smart, he would not bother to report the beating because he should know that he received a fair punishment for not paying back $40 and then snitching. Though if it's the kid's father's bike, I can understand. The father is the one who's going to do the reporting because he wasn't involved in the $40 loan and wants his bike back.

That poor kid will never be the same and all over a video game. lock them up for life, every single one of them. Or better of kill them becuase our world doesnt need those kind of kids in it. To sit there and laugh shows you have serious mental problems, and to do this in the first place shows that you have no soul. The mother of the accussed tried saying they are good kids. Its disgusting that after what they did there mother is still trying to defend them. Thats the problem the parents never punished them or taught them right from wrong. Im sick to my stomach to even think that someone could THINK of doing that, let alone ACTUALLY doing it.

Black on white crime was my first thought when I seen this story. There is no mention of race, and that is a red flag of black on white crime. If the other way around, the headline would be "white teens set black teen on fire".
