Good to hear! I agree: The application is slow on startup however I have
found that once it starts it works at a reasonable pace. I've been using
and reviewing TextMaker and PlanMaker (their spreadsheet application) since
they were in beta and every build is a little faster than the last. As a
registered user, SoftMaker will keep you up-to-date on when new builds are
ready.
PlanMaker is excellent as well should you need a spreadsheet application.
Yes I know it is more expensive than some of the competitors but the ability
to password protect and use any formula under the sun is worth it.
