I've worked in electronics sales or support for the better part of 15 years. Anyone else who's done so probably had similar experiences to me: being expected to know pretty much everything about all technology with little to no training. Thank goodness for the internet!

Over the years I've used multiple websites to teach myself tech, and over time I watched all of my favorites became more and more biased towards whoever was paying them the most. Cnet is a great example, I used to recommend them for product comparisons. If this site does the same, I've never noticed it so good job hiding it.

I've never actually browsed the Tom's Guide website. I only know it from the countless questions that I've googled and had Tom's Guide answer. With experience I've come to trust their product reviews, and the how-to's have made me look like a real pro when I've used them in clients homes. So staff members, if you're reading this, thank you for doing what you do.
