So he stacked it in this order bottom to top Xbox One Xfinity D.V.R, and then the Sony 4k Upscale DVD player,is this safe?

Solution
suggest getting a 1/2" door hole cutter and make some hole on the back side of that cabinet to get the heat to exhaust somewhere if you ever close that door..
you should really get a proper shelve unit for those electronics. but in a pinch, get wooden Lego blocks (not plastic) and space them on corners of each unit to have space between them while stacking them

this would be a good home depot alternative : http://www.homedepot.com/p/Bench-Dog-Plastic-Bench-Cookies-4-Pack-10-035/202736685
cheaper would be get to sports store and get hockey pucks and use some cork or rubber on them as in this article and make them yourself cheaply. http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=67844&cat=1,43456,43465

Cable management: round hole(s) through anywhere you need to run cable - hole saw. Bundle with Velcro cable ties. http://www.homedepot.com/p/VELCRO-Brand-8-in-x-1-2-in-Reusable-Ties-50-Pack-90924/202261940.

Cooling: A muffin fan (https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-MULTIFAN-Receiver-Playstation/dp/B00G05A2MU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1496665221&sr=8-4&keywords=usb+muffin+fan), muffin fan grille (https://www.amazon.com/Muffin-Grill-Finger-Guard-Two-pack/dp/B00GR21P2C/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1496665294&sr=8-8&keywords=muffin+fan+grill), floor register cover (https://www.amazon.com/Accord-AMFRSNC410-Charleston-Register-Measurements/dp/B00QXJXIJC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1496665347&sr=8-7&keywords=floor+register+cover), filter cloth (https://www.amazon.com/Duck-1285234-Replacement-Conditioner-24-Inch/dp/B002GKC2US/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496665413&sr=8-1&keywords=air+filter+cloth) or make a small filter holder and put a small furnace filter into it.

From your pictures, it looks like any ventilation would need to be directed from the left of the cabinet as there appears to be more cabinet/closed space on the right. Using a dado blade and a circular saw (preferably a table saw), cut a couple of slots in the shelves to allow air to flow through them and through your equipment. Set it up so the fan is at the top of the side, pulling air out of the box. Put the register and filter cloth as low in the side the box as you can get it.

And I still recommend also including a laptop cooler (https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-Aluminum-Adjustable-N8-ULTRA/dp/B005GNV2F8/ref=sr_1_52?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1496666053&sr=1-52&keywords=laptop+cooling+pad) under each component to assist in airflow through the stack. The pictured one is nice because the aluminum chassis will also serve as a heat sink, while the fans drive the heat off, but you can get plastic pads with fans for as little as $2 (though they may not last very long).

If you're not handy, any electronics hobbyist can set up the fans, and any woodworking hobbyist can cut the slots and holes you need.
