It will be interesting to find out if you can use a Drobo with an Airport Extreme in the same way you can use Time Capsule for Time Machine functionality. Or is there something "special" with Time Capsule that Drobo doesn't have or provide...

Could you please explain how the miraculous increase from 480 Mbit (USB 2.0) to 1000 MBit (DroboShare) is achieved? Isn't the Drobo connected via USB 2.0 to Droboshare?
