the good start for pc hi-fi audio

want to ask the best hi-fi & movies for my PC
component now
swans Hivi mk50 2.1 speaker
sound card Asus D2X 24/192
do i need external amp or usb dac ?
if yes what brand n type ?
my positionin speaker at 50 cm top desk at deep 50 cm

can someone decribe what i need to boost my sound hi-fi experience
my source file flac 24bit/ 44.1+
up to DSD 5.6Mhz
but when i hear the detail sound only little difference can be hear

The speakers are self powered so you have absolutely no use for an amp.
To improve sound quality a USB DAC would be the way to go..
Prices vary from about $100 to the price of an expensive car.

Not all high resolution files have fantastic sound. More resolution on a bad sounding recording doesn't make it sound better. Some software players are better than others. Try Foobar 2000 since it's free, JRiver Media Center is popular but not free.
