The music on my SD card isn't showing up on my Google Play. How do I fix this

I was able to play the music on my SD card through Google Play then my 3year old got sold of my phone and now it's not showing up at all on Google Play. I can still play it on other apartment but can't get it on Google and. Please help

To get the phone to access the music on your SD card, please try doing the following...

First, open up your "Google Play Music" app.

Next, go into the "Play Music" menu and then into "Settings".

Finally, locate and go into "Downloading". From there choose "Storage", then "Location" and finally "External".

The app should now be able to play the music on the card.
