Laptop Mag - The XPS 13 2-in-1 combines portability, comfort and plenty of power in a sleek, fanless design, but we wish the battery lasted longer.

BusinessNewsDaily - The XPS 13 2-in-1 sports a striking edge-to-edge display ... It looks great, and helps keep the system really compact.

AnandTech - Overall, the XPS 13 2-in-1 looks like a great addition to the XPS lineup, and offers a nice choice for a thin and light convertible. The Y series CPUs should mean that its fanless, and clamping the TDP raises the efficiency quite a bit.

Just got mine today. It won't turn on. I am not about to crack open a brand new computer to unplug the battery. I am just going to take it back to best buy and exchange it. This is why I hate buying devices right after they hit the market.

I did see that, but thanks. I took it back and got a new one, but I was having touchscreen issues with that one. So I took that back and got another new one. And this one also is having touchscreen issues, and touchpad issues also. Three lemons in a row? Or just a model with a lot of issues?

That sounds horribly unlucky. There hasn't been much in the way of news regarding these systemic issues. Could you describe the touchpad and touchscreen issues? One of our resident experts may be able to help! If not, it could help other users with similar issues.

Basically, there is intermittent "freezing" where after roughly 5 seconds of inactivity, if I tap or swipe on the screen, nothing happens, then after about a second, the tap or swipe registers.

On the first one, it was only happening after coming out of sleep mode. If I rebooted, I didn't have this problem again until it went into, and came out of sleep mode.

On this second one however, it is happening even after rebooting, before ever going to sleep. And also, the touchpad (or bluetooth mouse even) is freezing intermittently as well. As in, trying to move the cursor, it sticks, then jumps across the screen. And I noticed while I was in the bios, it was even doing this there. So I don't think it's a windows issue. It's a hardware problem.
