It would be good for the winters, but here at the moment it's around 30C+ daily.
Maybe when I go on holiday next I might consider getting one.. then again maybe not.

$900, triple of a normal jacket?!?

I bought a very nice brand new Columbia winter jacket with a detachable lining for $80 dollars last year.

Who the hell spends $300 on a coat?

i spent $500ish on my jacket ... then again it also has kevlar, and titanium plates, and impact foam ... and designed to help protect me in cse a i fall at up to 90 mph... did i mention its a motorcycle jacket... i'd liek to see this tech in them though .. it can get awfully cold when riding at highway speeds even when its only a little chilli out

THe Milwaukee tool company has a heated inner coat that runs off a 12 volt tool battery. At 150 bucks, its a lot cheaper and does the same thing.

[citation][nom]youssef 2010[/nom]At least we know a solution for cold weather. But if it is 40+C out there. what will you do?[/citation]

I know for a fact that an air conditioned jacket exists.

Craftsman and Milwaukee already have jackets like these.. not a new concept. Milwaukee has 8 hours of battery life, quicker charging, and removable battery packs. only $150!
