Both Quadro and GT 755m are about equal and a little bit more powerful than a nVidia 940m.

The Ideapad Y410p would be better overall since the i7-4700MQ is a quad core CPU so games capable of using more than 2 cores can perform a little better with that CPU.

Are either of these two laptops better then the hp notebook AMD Dual-Core A9-9410 APU with the Radeon R5?

Yes very much better.

The A9-9410 and it's integrated R5 (Bristol Ridge) graphics core is much weaker. There is no real point to compare it to the other laptops.
