This game works in slow motion

Mortal kombat Koplete edition is very disappointing because the odd slow motion that is frequent in story mode.
Sometimes the game runs slow in arcade and versus mode and there are few stages like graveyard and the street very the game runs slow even when the the rest of the stages have no such problem.

I did use colasced and it did increase the FPS but game would still runs slow like mentioned above.My laptop is Dell Vostro 3560.

But the game runs slow only in story mode and few stages.Injustice GAU had some other problem but it works smoothly.
