I've heard that many people payed $59.99 for MW2, but I only payed $49.99, maybe I just got lucky?

I have a slight feeling that Activision is to blame for the majority of the crap associated with this game. My uncle works at Activision (not related to Infinity Ward part in any way) and he said that the rumor around the office was that IW only wanted to charge $50 for the game, and $5 for the map pack. Yet the publisher said no, and charged $60 for the game and $15 for the map pack.

The lack of dedicated servers doesn't bother me at all (surprising because I thought I would hate it). I mean, sure I run into a hacker once out of every 15 games or so (especially during this past free weekend), but all I have to do is leave.

Anyway, glad to see the IW camp is standing up for themselves. I hope for their sake that they can hold on to the rights for at least the Modern Warfare series, but I know thats probably not going to happen. Maybe they can jump on the new Medal of Honor project or something.

[citation][nom]grillz9909[/nom]Campaign was fun and multiplayer is alright when there aren't a bunch of hacking noobs in the server. It doesn't help that there aren't dedicated servers either... (pc version of course). It is a big slap in the face for those of us who have a pc and want to play on our own server or on a guaranteed hack free server.Good game, bad multiplayer design. Here's to BFBC2[/citation]
Oh. Now that you mention it I remember a friend saying that same thing about the game (PC). I guess people do have a reason to protest err complain, it's inexcusable ( typo?) jeje thanx for the reply.
