Ok, sort of related, but since I've never played Modern Warfare, is there anyone out there as old as me that when you see, "MW#" mentioned you think first "Mech Warrior"? Man I wish Mech Warrior 5 was going to happen. 🙁

Things must have been incredibly bad for these people to be voluntarily leaving. That's so much money they're throwing away if they can't find a job fast (although I bet 'Respawn' is willing to hire them in a heartbeat). Still, kudos to them for having the balls to stick it to Activision.

the least that Activision should have done was to show some gratitude, especially with Zampella and West, for their dedication and hard work and that they are valued employees. Instead, they shun them and hide under politics and treat them like a criminal and exiled them. People leaving at infinity just shows how low their moral is.

At least EA gives dedicated servers for their BF/BC series...here's hoping for dedicated servers in MW3

I'm sure they are heading to the new studio, aptly named Respawn. I'm no EA fan, for destroying Origin and Westwood, but IMO they seem to be taking more of a hands off position lately. I was sure they would ruin Bioware, but I was dead wrong there. Developers need funds, marketing and distribution so as long as EA sticks to just that I'm hopeful.

But if EA goes back to their old ways of pushing ridiculous deadlines or shuffling and breaking apart teams to work on games they don't want to make god help them.

I always did. I hope if they do get to mech warrior that they don't muck it up for those consoles and don't have dedicated servers and add crappy menus like the did for UT3.

West and Zamp have made there own company called "Respawn Entertainment" and is being funded by "EA." From what i read they own the rights to publish the first game for them, but as west has said that they this time have the time to care about the fans and do what is right this time around. But they are done from what i hear of making war games, so I'm still going to stick around because even if its not MW3 it just might be something just as great, if not even better. I love war games, i would like to see them release something like it, but as of right now everything is up in air until they release a teaser of some sort of there new project no one really knows what they will be up to. Until then I'm glad that the team is splitting from Activision. I'm sure the franchise could change we won't ever really know until the next installment comes out and it gets rated. Treyarch will still be around to make there mark, i gave a lot of hate towards World At War until i played it, and i love it now =D So I'm looking forward to seeing what game if any will be released by them this year, its usually 1 year Infinity Ward and then the next is Treyarch. Looking forward.
