Tick Tock Sound from inside my asus a46cm

i have asus a46cm but its not work properly now
some night i play my laptop and suddenly it shut down on its own
and when im turn on it again, from inside my laptop i hear "tick tock" sound (from right bottom corner, right from touchpad) repeatedly and i cant enter the windows but there is some text "reboot and select proper device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

what should i do? and what happen to my laptop?
please help me. thanks

You will need to send it to the shop to replace the dead or dying hard drive, which is making those sounds.

You will need to send it to the shop to replace the dead or dying hard drive, which is making those sounds.

alright thanks.. but if my hard drive is dead or broken? can i still save the Data on the D: and E:?

Its 50/50, sometimes you still can, other times you can't, the shop could help you with that, as it requires special software.

but what happen to my hard drive? what makes it happen?

Sometimes if you drop the laptop, or hit it hard enough or run the hard drive long enough, it will start making errors, and if those errors keep adding up, the hard drive will die, and that is what happened to yours.
