My cousin has had one of these for years. Very fun to watch, but the sound of all the balls dropping on the hour is very annoying when you're trying to sleep.
I had one of these in elementary school, and i'm 29 now. Kinda cool to see it brought back though. I got a kick out of it when I was a kid, and somewhere through the years mine has vanished.
[citation][nom]mavroxur[/nom]and if the price was $29.50, they jacked the price up to $40 when tom's ran this article :-/[/citation]
Myabe Tom's saw the bottom price and thought it was the actual price instead of the savings you get.
LOL Clock and balls!!!
I was thinking that this was going to be an article about some whack-job claiming he created a time machine. (You know, to go back in time.)
[citation][nom]henryvalz[/nom]Guys, this thing has been around since the `80s.[/citation]
Some of the earliest 'clocks' made by the ancient Chinese and Greeks used small metal balls.
I've always wanted one of those ever since seeing one when I was a child back in the late 70's. Anyone know where to get a nice one that's not made out of plastic.
