I am thinking about buying a laptop for the first time. I have a budget of
£1000, but hope to spend less for the right specification. The laptop will
be used for office work, watching dvd, listening to mp3, playing games.
I've come across a couple of laptops that seem appealing these are
Tiny Powerlite C835 -

and
Acer Aspire 1691wlmi -
http/www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/320_253499.html
Not knowing much about laptops, I think that they are similarly spec'd ,
with the powerlite being £50 cheaper.
Any comments would be helpful in me making a purchase that would suite my
needs and not some white elephant. Suggestions of other laptops to consider
would also be welcomed.
Thanks in advance
Peter
