More info?)
Hi, I've been having the same trouble, but I can't seem to find a
workaround:
I transferred and un-encoded (.tivo->.mpg) some shows before I
unistalled the Moonlight mux, but they had the logo.
I uninstalled the Moonlight mux and played an already-transferred show
(.tivo), but it had the logo.
I re-transferred the show from the tivo after uninstallation (I figured
the mux and its trial period logo were being applied during transfer
from Tivo to PC) and the logo still shows up when I play the .tivo file
with Media Player 10.
I'm using Directshow Filter Dump for converting the files. Do I need
to uninstall Moonlight Compressor too? How is Media Player 10 playing
the .tivo files without the mux?
Can someone please explain the flow of data and what happens where
between the Tivo, the .tivo file, the mux, etc., and what happens if I
play a .tivo file directly in Media Player? I'm using Tivo Desktop
2.0. (not 2.1), and XP Pro with a bunch of recent updates...
If I use the Graphedit approach, will the logo go away? If Moonlight
left something in my registry preventing it from being reinstalled,
what else can I do to cut loose my .tivo files?
Thanks a lot
Michael
