Top animation laptops

Serious art student needs laptop capable of handling animation. Which hardware is recommended for her? Which Animation software programs will offfer the most help in learning this craft. I think she is choosing to take classes at Ringling in Florida.

FAQ - Read before buying / considering a laptop

Have you checked to see if Ringling has a laptop recommendation? Many colleges and universities have specific recommendations.
It could be that that the actual animation work will take place in the studio/lab using heavy duty animation workstations much more powerful than any student's laptop.
And that a student laptop might be needed just for normal classwork.
