Question Toshiba 32C110U powers on, but all buttons when pressed say Not Available

Was given a Toshiba 32C110U TV, but no remote. Using the buttons it powers on, but all other buttons (menu, input, vol, ch) when pressed screen error says Not Available. There is a little symbol initially in upper left hand of screen that says cable 37, but that clears and then screen just looks like no signal (it is not blank/black). Do have an antennae plugged in. Tried hard reset unplugging for an hour then holding power button for a minute then plugging it back in to wall socket, holding power button another minute, then powering up, no change. Searched the internet and have not found anything that address' this issue.

Get a universal remote see if that works. TV board that buttons are on may be bad, although it may have been disabled for some reason.

I tried that already. The universal remote powers the TV up and down, but no other buttons work, menu, input etc... Same as the buttons on the TV itself. Thanks for responding though.
