Remote CT 8035 no longer plays a loaded DVD for toshiba tv DVD combo D3453DB
Navigation keys do not work so it's not possible to select scenes
Play stop forward backwards buttons do nothing
In tv mode the navigation buttons work fine i.e. For Menu and set up etc
DVD only plays via buttons on the set
Is it possible a recent upgrade in sept 2016 has caused this ?
Any help much appreciated !

First you want to check if those buttons on the remote are working.

If not then get a replacement remote

If they do work then the problem would be in the TV. If you did a firmware update on the TV it is possible that it caused this.
