Hello,Ive had above tv for 6 years and have changed the lamp 3xs the most recent being nov,2010. aoubt a month ago i noticed that after the tv had been on for 15 minors it started to flicker incessantly and the colors faded in and out. unfortunately the extended warranted has expired. spoke to toshiba, no real insights as to the problem. colr wheel perhaps? Help

Definitely color wheel. The only way I've been able to get them repaired is to pull the light engine and have it rebuilt. Your tab with labor could get into the $500 range, which may be a dealbreaker. Might be time to retire that set.
