Toshiba a300D-15B screen resolution?

Hello,
i need to buy a new lcd screen i am looking on the internet and it is the same 15.4" but the resolution is at 1280x800. but on the toshiba website the resolution of this laptop is 1,440 x 900 so will it work

It should work, as long as the connectors are the same, but you'll only get a max resolution of 1280x800 on it.
