Toshiba Battery Not Charging with new battery and charger

I have Toshiba Satellite Laptop and I recently got a new battery and a new charger. I plugged the AC Adapter in and the light won't go on. I also did a hard reset and it still didn't work. Help.

Hi, what model of Toshiba you have? Check the DC jack if it's loose, it could be desolder.
