Apologies up front if this has been answered before. My search has not located answer.
My Toshiba L650 beeps when I turn it on, a black screen appears with text saying "windows starting". I turn computer off and back on again and it comes up with the following message on a black screen but with no beeping.
"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. If windows files have been damaged or configured incorrectly, start up repair can help diagnose and fix the problem. If power was interrupted during start up, choose start windows normally.
Launch start up repair (recommended)
start windows normally".
I have run the repair option several times and this has not fixed issue.
Every time I turn computer on it beeps so I turn off then on again. Select start windows normally and it boots normally.
I am running windows seven. No new hardware or software has been loaded (apart from auto update to windows).
